| Duly Chastised |
Daddy left me a message on my voicemail, asking me to buy him some timers that were available at Big Lots for 2/$5. Now I was flummoxed. Did he want an egg timer? A stopwatch? An oven timer?
I called Mom to ask her what timer it was Daddy wanted.
"He wants those timer thingies that will automatically light and turn off all the Christmas lights in the house," she answered.
"Gotcha. Thanks, Mom. Bye." I hung up, and saw Ducky looking at me with a worried expression on his face.
"Mommy," he admonished, "you forgot to say 'I love you' to Grandma!"
Boy, am I embarrassed. And proud of my little boy. |

About Me: I am stumbling through motherhood and wife-hood (is there such a word?), and enjoying every minute of it! Attracted to intelligent, not-conventionally-handsome men. I think Alton Brown and Hugh Laurie are hot. I make a mean baked macaroni and beef stroganoff.
